GreenSolRes Plenary meeting at Aachen

The third Plenary meeting of the GreenSolRes Consortium took place at RWTH campus in Aachen from 4th to 5th September. On behalf of RWTH, Prof. Walter Leitner welcomed the participants and started the two days meeting. Members exchanged the project results through their presentations followed by useful discussions. Three deliverables from WP2 on hydrogenation of levulinic acid (LVA) were submitted to EU in August. With the development of suitable catalyst for LVA conversion, the first Milestone of GreenSolRes is achieved that was approved by the General Assembly. In the Steering Committee meeting, the progress of all WP’s in first 12 months and upcoming tasks were discussed in details.
